I would like to know what makes having hair like this emo…… as far as I am concerned, its not emo as long as you can still see both eyes…. (from what I observed). As well as the fact that there are other hairstyles that involve hair down in the face, that have NOTHING to do with emo at all.

Emo is not ‘unique’ nor new. It’s a subculture that was influenced out of other subcultures. It lacks originality and a voice of its own. The main difference is that everyone wants to be emo. But when hardcore came out you’d get the snot kicked out of you. Punk is dead and will remain so. It died the day it came out into the open and ceased being a subculture, when punk became the “it” thing to do. So my point is this; being emo doesn’t make you an ‘anti-punk’ you’re just the bitches of real punks.
